Projects - Equipment - Project Parts and Positions
To learn more about Project Parts and Positions, visit the Project Parts and Positions Concept help page

Here you'll find information on the Project Parts and Positions options available on the Equipment page.

- Project Parts
Clicking the "Project Parts and Positions" link on the Equipment Page will show the options available to manage Parts and Positions. The left hand box has options to work with Project Parts

Working Project Part
With this drop down menu you can select the current working part. The Working Part is the currently active part. All new positions and items created will be placed in the Working Part.

Show only this Part
Filters the Equipment list so only Positions and Items from this Project Part are shown.

Part List and Options
Opens the "Project Parts" options screen, which lists all Project Parts in your project. You also have the option to create new Parts, edit existing Parts, and delete parts.

Deleting a Project Part will give you the option to either move the items contained in the Part to another Part, or delete the Items entirely.

Deleting a Project Part and moving the Items is a good way to merge two Parts, especially if one was created accidently.

Note: Every Project must have one Project Part. When a Project is created, a default Part is also created. You may change the name of that Part, but you won't be able to delete it.
